Aufgaben
You work on the further development of the web backend of a professional device management software for enterprise-grade companies, some of which use several thousand Apple devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads).
The released device management product is running flawlessly, your code works and Python/Django is the basis for the main part of it.
You start as a senior developer at eye level with the three founders. You take on responsibility and are fully involved in expanding the product and the dev team, selecting the right tools and advancing the software infrastructure.

Continuous expansion of the app functions on several levels

Adding functions to existing modules (via santa / osquery, among others) based on customer feedback

Extending support for the Apple device management protocol for mobile device management

Creation of an API for Terraform

Extension of access control

Integration with other event stores (ClickHouse, Snowflake, …)

Qualifikationsprofil
Your qualifications / your contribution …
You are a professional developer with at least 5 years of experience in programming scalable applications (ideally in a cloud-native environment).
Must-haves:

Python

Django or an equivalent Python-based web framework

PostgreSQL or an equivalent relational DB

Fluent in English (German nice-to-have)
Nice-to-haves (optional):

Development experience with one of the major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, AZURE …)

Cryptography knowledge (certificates, signatures, PKI) for web applications

Terraform

Ansible/Packer

Container environments
